Sully's Brand Denounces Neo-Nazi Group that Used Our Flag
Posted by on
It was awesome to see so many people celebrating with Sully's Brand’s trademark tri-color Irish and #BelieveInBoston flags at yesterday’s St. Patrick’s Day parade in South Boston. After missing the past two years it was great to see our flags waving in the procession and in the crowd. It was brought to our attention that a hate group also displayed one of our flags alongside a black neo-nazi “sun cross” flag in their “Keep Boston Irish” protest. Sully’s Brand emphatically denounces this group and their cause. Irish immigrants were not met with compassion and acceptance when they first came here in the 18th century and the notion that we should repeat that prejudiced behavior is ridiculous and disgusting. Thank you to our customers who reached out and said they spoke up against this group when they came across them on Sunday. It is important to stand up against hate and discrimination so today we donated $200 to the Anti-Defamation League, and encourage you to consider making your own donation to an anti-hate group today. Anyone who donates $25 or more (through this Friday, 3/25), forward us your donation confirmation and mailing address to [email protected] and we’ll mail you one of our 3’x5’ Irish flags for FREE as a thank you. We can and should always strive to do better.

Our Latest 'Fight Club' Tee Raised $30,000 for the Jimmy Fund!
Posted by on
This all started with a pretty simple t-shirt. Our Fight Club franchise of tees (going back to 2008, still bummed that we didn't start in '04 with V-Tek) has always championed athletes who are willing to throw down for their team. In 2021, we realized we should honor someone who is taking on a very different kind of fight, the one and only Jerry Remy. After Alex Cora wore the tee during his interview on NESN during the Jimmy Fund telethon, we decided to add it to the store and try and make as big of a donation as possible. As a multi-year sponsor in the past of the Jimmy Fund, we love and respect the work that they do. We had the honor of working alongside of them to build awareness for their efforts and got to sit down with several of their patients during our time there.
The shirt resonated with people after Alex wore it, and then it started popping up more - Chris Sale was in it during several post-game pressers, a few other players had it on the field during batting practice. It got people talking about the much-missed personality and allowed us to make a very significant donation of $30,000 to the Jimmy Fund.
Our biggest donation ever to them, in fact! And the 2nd largest in our history as a brand. Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts and for making this happen.
